Aix-en-Provence, or just Aix (pronounced “ex”) is a wonderful French city to visit. Come and immerse yourself in Provençal charm and style. Aix has a cozy small village ambiance while being large enough to offer an abundance of year-round activities, international cultural events, and delicious cuisine. If you’re traveling by car, it’s just a short 1-2 hour drive from other popular regional destinations such as Avignon, Arles, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence to the north and Nice, Cannes, Monaco and Saint-Tropez to the east. If arriving by plane or train, Aéroport de Marseille Provence is about 30-minutes away and just 20-minutes or so from the Aix-en-Provence TGV railway station.
